QuickNotes is meant to help transfer short notes (like a URL, or product key) from one computer to another without having to go through the mess of emailing it to yourself, waste the paper by writing it out by hand, or chance a mistake when dictating it to someone over the phone.

QuickNotes is best saved as a favorite place with fast access, otherwise it won't save much time over email.
